TV ratings: 'Terra Nova' has so-so premiere Monday, 'Two and a Half Men' still on top
The ratings for episode 2 of the Ashton Kutcher era on "Two and a Half Men" came down some Monday but were still way above the show's average last season. "Terra Nova," meanwhile, earned decent but hardly world-beating numbers for its premiere on FOX. The CW's "Hart of Dixie" did OK, drawing more viewers than lead-in "Gossip Girl" but slightly lower numbers in the network's target 18-34 demographic.
Elsewhere, "Dancing With the Stars" came down some from its premiere, and "The Playboy Club" dipped into the danger zone for NBC, falling short of 4 million viewers.
ABC led Monday night in viewers, drawing 14.65 million people and a 10.0 rating/14 share in households. CBS (13.05 million, 8.2/12) finished second, followed by FOX at 9 million viewers and a 5.6/8. NBC (4.2 million, 2.7/4) was fourth, while The CW's premieres averaged 1.6 million viewers and a 1.2/2.
CBS scored the top spot among adults 18-49 with a 4.5 rating. ABC came in second in the demographic with a 3.1, edging FOX's 3.0. NBC drew a 1.5 for fourth place, and The CW posted a 0.7.
