TV ratings: 'The Big Bang Theory' rules a rerun-filled Thursday
Here's how big "The Big Bang Theory" has been this season: A rerun of the show on Thursday scored better ratings than most first-run shows have this fall. "Person of Interest" also scored well for CBS, which scored an easy win on a night that was virtually wall-to-wall reruns. (Only NBC's "Rock Center" was new.)
CBS averaged 9.6 million viewers and a 6.1 rating/10 share in households for the night -- beating the combined total of the other four networks. ABC was the best of the rest with 3.6 million viewers and a 2.3/4. NBC (2.6 million, 1.7/3) came in third, followed by FOX (1.8 million, 1.1/2) and The CW (1 million, 0.7/1).
The Eye also led the adults 18-49 demographic with a 2.1 rating. No one else made it above a 1.0: ABC was second with a 0.9, edging NBC's 0.8 and FOX's 0.7. The CW drew a 0.4.
