TV ratings: 'The Voice,' 'America's Got Talent' give NBC a big win Tuesday
"America's Got Talent" and "The Voice" were each down a little bit compared to last week, but the two shows were also still Tuesday's highest-rated by a wide margin, leading NBC to an easy win for the night. ABC's all-original lineup, including two new series, drew only middling ratings.
NBC drew 11.9 million viewers and a 6.8 rating/11 share in households Tuesday night to finish better than 4 million viewers ahead of second-place CBS (7.6 million, 5.1/8). ABC (5.4 million, 3.2/5) came in third. FOX took fourth with 3.3 million viewers and a 2.0/3, while The CW (885,000, 0.6/1) was well off the pace.
The Peacock dominated the adults 18-49 with a 3.9 rating. ABC took second in the demo with a 1.6, beating out FOX's 1.4 and CBS' 1.1. The CW trailed with a 0.3.
