Tuesday's edition of "The Voice" improved on its ratings from a week ago, leading the night in adults 18-49 and also getting a rare (and narrow) win over "Dancing With the Stars" in total viewers. It also helped "The New Normal" improve on its recent performance for its season finale.

The "DWTS" results show, meanwhile, was on par with last week, rising a little bit in viewers but dropping a tenth of a point in the 18-49 demo. "Splash" fell a little more in its third episode, and "Body of Proof" was off slightly from its season high last week.

Despite airing two hours of reruns, CBS still led the night in viewers, averaging 9.5 million people and a 6.2 rating/10 share in households. ABC (9.3 million, 6.1/10) was right behind in second. NBC came in third with 7 million viewers and a 4.5/7, a good distance ahead of fourth-place FOX (3.7 million, 2.3/4). The CW (690,000, 0.5/1) trailed.

NBC led the 18-49 demographic with a 2.3 rating. ABC finished second with a 1.7, edging FOX's 1.6. CBS posted a 1.4 and The CW a 0.2.
