Monday's ratings played out pretty much according to script, with "The Voice" and "The Blacklist" leading NBC to a decisive win and "Sleepy Hollow" remaining solid for FOX. For the most part, though, shows were down slightly from their performances last week.

The CW aired the season premieres "Hart of Dixie" and "Beauty and the Beast," both of which fell below last year's premieres but were in line with where they ended the season. On the plus side for the network, the two shows were a sizable upgrade from the "90210"-"Gossip Girl" combo last season.

NBC averaged 13.3 million viewers and a 7.9 rating/12 share in households for the night, beating ABC's 12.3 million and 8.1/12 for the top spot. FOX (7.4 million, 4.5/7) came in third. CBS (6.15 million, 4.0/6) finished fourth, and The CW trailed with 1.2 million viewers and a 0.8/1. ABC's and The CW's numbers are subject to change because of pre-emptions for an NFL game in a couple of markets.

NBC's lead in the adults 18-49 demographic was wider, as it scored a 4.1 rating to second-place FOX's 2.3. ABC took third with a 2.1, followed by CBS at 1.9. The CW drew a 0.4.
