TV ratings: 'Undercover Boss' helps CBS cruise Friday, NAACP Image Awards rise
CBS coasted to a ratings win Friday, with "Undercover Boss" grabbing its biggest total audience of the season and matching its season best in adults 18-49.
Elsewhere, the NAACP Image Awards pulled in their largest viewer count since 2009. "Shark Tank" was solid for ABC, and while "Nikita" dipped a little bit from its high last week, it still was on the high side for The CW.
CBS averaged 10.5 million viewers and a 6.7 rating/11 share in households for the night, easily beating ABC's 6.05 million and 3.8/6. NBC (3.5 million, 2.5/4) came in third. FOX (2.7 million, 1.7/3) took fourth, and The CW trailed with just over 1 million viewers and a 0.7/1.
CBS also led among adults 18-49 with a 1.6 rating, just beating ABC's 1.5. No one else managed to get over the 1.0 mark -- NBC averaged 0.9 in the demo, FOX 0.8 and The CW 0.3.
