TV ratings: 'Big Brother' and 'America's Got Talent' dip, still lead Wednesday

"Big Brother" and "America's Got Talent" claimed their usual spots at the top of Wednesday night's ratings, although both were down a bit compared to last week. The CBS show scored an adults 18-49 win and the NBC series drew the biggest total audience.

Also Wednesday, "Penn & Teller: Fool Us" continued to deliver solid numbers for The CW, while "So You Think You Can Dance" was off slightly for FOX. CBS' "Extant" was even with last week.

NBC brought in 6.9 million viewers and a 4.3 rating/8 share in households in primetime. CBS (5.7 million, 3.6/6) came in second. ABC (3.8 million, 2.5/4) beat out FOX (3.4 million, 2.1/4) for third. The CW averaged 1.15 million viewers and a 0.7/1.

CBS and NBC tied for the lead among adults 18-49, each scoring a 1.3 rating. ABC and FOX also tied at 1.0, while The CW posted a 0.4.
