CBS' "Big Brother" and NBC's "America's Got Talent" led Wednesday's ratings. "Big Brother" won their head-to-head battle among adults 18-49 at 8 o'clock, but "AGT" grew in its second hour and ended up sharing the demo lead for the night.

Also Wednesday, the bigger lead-in gave "Taxi Brooklyn" a boost on NBC, pushing it to season highs in both viewers and adults 18-49. "Extant" was down week to week for CBS, scoring its lowest same-day numbers to date, while "So You Think You Can Dance" ticked up for FOX.

NBC drew 8.6 million viewers and a 5.1 rating/9 share in households for the night. CBS (6 million, 3.9/7) came in second, well ahead of third-place FOX (3.8 million, 2.3/4). ABC took fourth with 3.5 million viewers and a 2.3/4. The CW (721,000, 0.5/1) trailed.
