TV ratings: 'X Factor' down a little, 'Revenge' rises Wednesday

"The X Factor" dipped a bit compared to last week's live show, but FOX still managed to lead the night among adults 18-49. ABC, meanwhile, had its best Wednesday overall since premiere week, with "Revenge" growing and "Happy Endings" matching its week-ago series high in the 18-49 demographic.

"Survivor: South Pacific" also marked its second straight week of ratings growth for CBS, which led the night in total viewers. The Eye averaged 11.8 million viewers and a 7.2 rating/11 share in households, narrowly beating FOX (11.5 million, 6.8/10). ABC (9.35 million, 5.9/9) finished third. NBC was fourth with 6.1 million viewers and a 4.1/6. The CW brought up the rear with 1.5 million viewers and a 1.0/2.

FOX had the best 18-49 rating with a 3.9. ABC finished second in the demo with a 3.5, edging CBS' 3.3. NBC was off the pace some with a 1.9, and The CW scored a 0.6.
