TV ratings: 'X Factor' final performances give FOX an easy win Wednesday
Up against a lineup of mostly reruns on the other networks, the final performance show of the season for "The X Factor" cruised to a ratings win Wednesday night. Its numbers were pretty much even with last week, and lead-out "I Hate My Teenage Daughter" was up a little.
FOX averaged 9.8 million viewers and a 5.7 rating/9 share in households for the night, topping CBS (6.1 million, 4.1/7) by a pretty good margin. NBC took third with 4.7 million viewers and a 2.9/5. ABC (4.5 million, 3.0/5) came in fourth, and The CW trailed with 821,000 viewers and a 0.6/1.
FOX also dominated the adults 18-49 demographic with a 3.0 rating. ABC was the best of the rest at 1.4, followed closely by CBS, 1.3, and NBC, 1.2. The CW posted a 0.3.
