TV news and notes:
- Here's the first poster for "Marvel's Agent of Carter." The series is set in 1946 and centers on Hayley Atwell's character from "Captain America," as she works secret missions for the Strategic Scientific Reserve while maintaining an administrative job. It'll be the second Marvel property to air on ABC, along with the returning "Agents of SHIELD."
- After HGTV dropped their pilot "Flip It Forward," the Benham brothers say they are currently being pursued by other networks for a project. The network canceled the pilot after allegations that they were "anti-gay" and "anti-abortion." [ THR]
- "Veep" star Matt Walsh is entering a scary new world. He's joined the cast of the thriller "6 Miranda Drive" from Blumhouse Productions. The movie, also starring "The Following's" Kevin Bacon and "Agents of SHIELD's" Ming-Na Wen, follows a couple who joins a family on a Grand Canyon vacation,. When they come home, a supernatural presence follows them. [ THR]
- "Constantine" executive producer David S. Goyer has signed a first-look deal with Universal TV, hot on the heels of the DC Comics series adaptation being picked up to series. In addition to "Constantine" and "Da Vinci's Demons" on Starz, Goyer will now develop shows for Universal. [ Deadline]
1- HBO's "Lewis and Clark" has found its Meriwether Lewis. Casey Affleck will play the role of the famed American explorer. The six-hour miniseries has not yet cast its Clark. [ The Hollywood Reporter]
