'Twilight: Eclipse' adds Jodelle Ferland as creepy little girl

Jodelle Ferland, who in 2006 played a child lost in that haunted town, has joined the cast of "The Twilight Saga: Eclipse," according to Variety. While there are few details about Ferland's role -- the trade says only that she'll play a vamp -- we can surmise she's part of Victoria's undead army.

The role of Victoria recently took on a soap-opera quality of its own when Rachelle Lefevre, who played the role in "Twilight," was abruptly replaced in late July. Instead, Bryce Dallas Howard will bite into the role for "Eclipse."

The third movie in the "Twilight" series will follow Victoria's vampire army as she tries to get revenge on sparkly bloodsucker Edward and human lover Bella.

Production begins Aug. 17 for a June 2010 release.
