'Twilight': Summit wants to destroy Bella's jacket. Jacob can keep her warm
Summit Entertainment wants to put a stop to one of Bella's claims to fame -- a jacket from BB Dakota -- that became a sensation when a last-minute costume design substitution made it to "Twilight."
The film company filed a lawsuit Friday (June 11) against BB Dakota for copyright and trademark infringement, says The Hollywood Reporter. It appears that even though the company's jacket was indeed used in the film and even inspired a cute behind-the-scenes story, BB Dakota has been using the "Twilight" and Bella names to sell the jacket.
On the retailer's website, the "jacket seen in Twilight" is described as: "Bella Swann [sic] wears this jacket in Twilight and scores the hottest vampire in high school, and so can you!"
