'Twilight' vamp Jackson Rathbone coming to 'No Ordinary Family'

jackson-rathbone-getty.jpg "Twilight" vampire Jackson Rathbone is teaming up with a different type of superhero family this fall on ABC -- the Powells on "No Ordinary Family," ABC confirms to Zap2it.

As first reported by EW, Rathbone will play Trent Stafford, a high school classmate of the telepathic Daphne Powell ( Kay Panabaker). Stafford was recently the victim of a robbery at his home and presumably the heroic Powells will help him catch the person who invaded his home.

There is no word yet as to how many episodes Rathbone will be seen in, but the role is recurring. Rathbone is best known for playing the (relatively) new Cullen vampire Jasper Hale in the "Twilight" movies.

"No Ordinary Family" debuts Tuesday, Sept. 28 at 8 p.m. ET on ABC and also stars Michael Chiklis, Julie Benz, Romany Malco and Autumn Reeser.
