venus-chimera-two-faced-cat-pics-photos-pictures-facebook-1.jpg Venus the chimera cat has two faces, more than 35,000 likes on her Facebook page and was even on "Today" on Wednesday (Aug. 29) morning -- guess your 214 Twitter followers are looking a little sad right about now. But hey, check out some adorable pictures of Venus to cheer you up.

The kitty who's taken the internet -- nay, the WORLD -- by storm went viral in August when someone posted a photo of her to Reddit. She is known as a chimera because of her genetic composition ( check out this description if you want more scientific-ish details) -- her face is half black with one green eye and half calico with one blue eye. However, the website Life with Cats points out that she may not actually be a chimera, as her family has not done genetic testing.

Venus even posts on her own Facebook page, where she calls her owners "Mommy" and "Daddy," which might be a little annoying if she weren't just 3 years old -- and a cat.

Her owner writes in a post, "She's as sweet as can be....gentle, loving, and has this little tiny kitten like 'meow' even though she is 3 now. She acts like a big baby in the way that she loves to be babied. She doesn't bother any furniture with her claws and uses a scratching post. She does not have one single bad habits......she's perfect!"
