'Two and a Half Men' Season 11: Amber Tamblyn cast as Charlie's long-lost lesbian daughter
Deadline reports that Tamblyn will play Charlie's (former star Charlie Sheen) illegitimate daughter, Jenny, who moves to L.A. to pursue acting and connect with what's left of her family. Of course, this being a Chuck Lorre show, she's also a lesbian. (Hey! Everyone can continue to objectify women on the show as if nothing ever happened!)
Tamblyn is set to recur in five episodes, but should the character prove a success, she could potentially become a co-lead alongside Jon Cryer and Ashton Kutcher, filling the void left by the departure of original "half man" Angus T. Jones. (Get the joke? Jenny's a lesbian, so she's also a "half man." Har har.)
The role is a return to CBS for Tamblyn, who got her start on the network as the lead of "Joan of Arcadia."
Do you think Tamblyn is a good fit for "Two and a Half Men"?
