ultimate-warrior-dies.jpg Just days after his WWE Hall of Fame induction, The Ultimate Warrior has passed away at the age of 54. WWE released a statement on Tuesday (April 8) revealing the tragic news.

"WWE is shocked and deeply saddened to learn of the passing of one of the most iconic WWE Superstars ever, The Ultimate Warrior," the statement says. "We are grateful that just days ago, Warrior had the opportunity to take his rightful place in the WWE Hall of Fame and was also able to appear at 'WrestleMania 30' and 'Monday Night Raw' to address his legions of fans. WWE sends its sincere condolences to Warrior's family, friends and fans."

The Ultimate Warrior (real name: Jim Hellwig) has been a part of the WWE family since 1987, and Monday (April 7) was his first "Raw" appearance since the mid-'90s. He is survived by his wife Dana and his two daughters.
