natalie-zea-under-the-dome.jpg Natalie Zea, recently of "The Following" and "Justified," was revealed Monday (June 10) to be going "Under the Dome" later this summer, as first reported by TV Guide. Zea will first appear in episode 9 -- but where did she come from?

Showrunner Neal Baer teases that while there aren't any new people getting into the dome, "that doesn't mean there might not be somebody hiding out." And if you think Big Jim Rennie is trouble, you ain't seen nothing yet until you meet Zea's Maxine.

"She's actually a wholly new invention, so she's not in the book," Baer tells Zap2it. "She's someone with a connection to more than one person under the dome."

"She will bring a lot of excitement," adds writer/creator Brian K. Vaughan. "But we're reluctant to say too much."

"Under the Dome" premieres Monday, June 24 on CBS.
