USA has deemed "Necessary Roughness" unnecessary.

On Tuesday (Nov. 19), the network canceled the sports medicine drama after three seasons, Deadline reports. There will not be a fourth season.

"We are proud of this show and its writers, which had a unique ability to address topical subjects before they unfolded in real life on the sports pages," USA said in a statement. "We want to thank Liz Kruger and Craig Shapiro, the incredible cast led by Golden Globe nominee Callie Thorne and our partners at Sony Television."

"Necessary Roughness" starred Callie Thorne as New York Hawks sports psychologist Dani Santino, who struggles with the threat of losing her practice while attempting to keep her personal life intact. John Stamos joined the drama in Season 3 as new male lead.

Season 3 aired in Summer of 2013, and ended on a cliffhanger as the FBI raided the V3 sports clinic and Connor was made to atone for Hutch's leaving baseball by getting him a second shot at the big leagues (via the KC minors).

Are you sad to see the end of "Necessary Roughness?"
