Vegan Jenny McCarthy eats meat in sexy Carl's Jr. ad - VIDEO
Jenny McCarthy didn't mind eating chicken in her latest ad campaign. The longtime vegan stars in Carl's Jr.'s new commercial for its cranberry walnut grilled chicken salad, called "Forget You're Eating Salad," and it seems like McCarthy didn't mind forgetting that she also doesn't eat meat as well.
"I'm excited to be the new Carl's Jr. salad babe. I'm loving all the ingredients in their new salad," McCarthy tells Us Weekly. "Each bite is scrumptious and a little nutty. Reminds me of a few exes I've dated."
McCarthy came out as vegan during a taping of "The Rachael Ray Show" in 2009. Before that, she was a well-known vegetarian and has long championed a gluten-free, dairy-free diet. There's always the chance that the chicken in this commercial was switched with a vegan-friendly replacement, but for now it's clear that McCarthy is a big supporter of Carl's Jr.'s new salad.
Previous celebrity endorsers of Carl's Jr. include Kim Kardashian, Kate Upton and Heidi Klum.
