Venice Film Festival: Keira Knightley wows in lace

venice-keira-knightley-gi.jpg Keira Knightley conjured up the spirit of her character from 2005's "Pride and Prejudice" when she showed up at the Venice Film Festival screening of her new movie, "A Dangerous Method," wearing somewhat chaste -- though still beautiful -- head-to-toe lace.

The floor-length gown was Valentino couture, which Knightley paired with a simple up-do and a fresh face, heavy on the mascara.

In the David Cronenberg-directed film about the relationship between Carl Jung and Sigmund Freud, Knightley plays a psychiatric patient who comes between the two proto-psychoanalysts.

Also, walking the red carpet were Knightley's co-stars Viggo Mortensen, Michael Fassbender (X-Men First Class) and Vincent Cassel ("Black Swan").
