Get ready for some new faces in Season 3 of History's "Vikings." The network has announced three actors who will be joining the cast.
Lothaire Bluteau ( "The Tudors") will play Emperor Charles of France, who will become very important when Ragnar and the Vikings begin their raid on France. He is described as "a powerful man who views battling the Vikings as spiritual and earthly." His daughter Princess Gisla, who is elegant, self-possessed and the Emperor's most trusted advisor, will be portrayed by Morgane Polanski.
The most notable addition if Kevin Durand, a "Lost" alumnus who will next be seen in FX's "The Strain." He stars as The Wanderer, "a mysterious man who is not what he seems." Nothing else is said about the character.
These three join Ben Robson, who was already revealed to be joining the cast in Season 3. Robson plays Lagertha's second-in-command, Kalf.
Season 3 of "Vikings" will premiere in 2015 on History.
