VMAs 2014: Iggy Azalea and Rita Ora strut for 'Black Widow' performance

Iggy Azalea has been taking over air waves all summer with her long list of singles and guest slots on others. She made her VMA performance debut tonight (Aug. 24) at the 2014 MTV Video Music Awards with Rita Ora and their song "Black Widow"

The ladies wore similar black sequin outfits with strategic cut outs in the shape of spider-webs. Their back up dancers were also dressed like the 8 legged creatures as Iggy spit verses and Rita belted out the chorus to their radio hit. Their animal-inspired outfits went over a lot more successfully than Nicki Minaj's "Anaconda" attempt

At the end of the number the two strutted off into a cloud of smoke to an electric guitar breakdown, posing in a shadowed silhouette as the houselights came back up. Check it out below.
