Miley Cyrus held the record for most VEVO views racked up in 24 hours with her video "Wrecking Ball" -- that is until this week when Nicki Minaj smashed it with "Anaconda."

"She broke [the record]!" Cyrus said on the red carpet for the 2014 MTV Video Music Awards. "I just found out in the car that she broke it." The young pop star didn't seem to be that upset about it -- in fact she seemed to understand how it happened. "It's that a**, man. I can bring that body and the wrecking ball, but I don't have that a**."

She may not have the backend goods that Minaj does, but that doesn't mean that Miley Cyrus is any stranger to controversy. She easily had one of the most talked about performances in VMA history last year when she twerked in a nude color spandex suit on Robin Thicke's crotch.

When questioned on how she expects anyone to top that performance Cyrus admitted that she doesn't know how anyone will do it. However she has "something very special" planned for the night that she didn't want to get out until it happens. Audiences will just have to wait and see.

UPDATE: Cyrus's "special" moment came when she had a homeless youth accept her Video of the Year award for her.
