'Walking Dead' ratings: Oscars competition can't keep this monster downAdd to Favorites | The Walking Dead
The horror hit's Feb. 24 episode, "I Ain't a Judas," scored 11.01 million viewers and a 5.7 rating in adults 18-49.
That's once again the highest 18-49 rating for the week among all scripted programming, topping the 5.6 posted by CBS' "The Big Bang Theory" on Thursday, Feb. 21.
Even with viewership of the Oscars on the high side -- 40.4 million viewers made it the second most-watched Academy Awards broadcast of the past eight years, and it was up in all key male demos -- the same night's "The Walking Dead" was virtually even with the 11.05 million viewers it scored the previous week, and actually up one tenth of a point in 18-49.
"Post-game" talkshow "Talking Dead" scored 3.5 million viewers and a 1.9 in adults 18-49, making it the second biggest show on cable for the night in 18-49.
