Watch 'The Leftovers' teaser trailer 2: 'No matter what we suffered, we're still alive'

"Lost" co-creator Damon Lindelof's new series about the rapture, "The Leftovers," is guaranteed to be intense from beginning to end.

The series which Lindelof co-created with award-winning novelist Tom Perrotta (Little Children), stars Justin Theroux as Kevin Garvey, a police chief in a small New York town who tries to keep his town together and normal when the notion seems impossible.

While the first teaser trailer for the drama hints at how the people, who are left after millions of people around the world vanish into thin air simultaneously, including much of their friends and family, deal with the pain. The second dives right into all the different ways of coping.

Many people use prayer or turn to their remaining loved ones, while others turn to more violent, selfish behaviors. One thing is certain, the people are looking for answers.

Check out the new trailer above and let us know what you are most excited to see when "The Leftovers" premieres Sunday, June 29 at 10 p.m. ET/PT on HBO.
