Watch Kathie Lee Gifford and Hoda Kotb's intervention on 'Late Night'

It's become a running gag during the fourth hour of "Today" that hosts Kathie Lee Gifford and Hoda Kotb are always drunk (it's funny because it's sort of true). On Monday's (March 24) "Late Night," host Seth Meyers staged an intervention with "people" from the women's lives there to talk about what crazy things they've done while drunk.

"By the time my segment started, you were both tanked off your faces. Hoda, you were banging on the glass, yelling, 'You don't know me!' to the tourists outside," says a woman playing a guest from their show.

There's also a fake "Today" producer who says Gifford always calls him "Asian Jason" even though his name is Paul and that at the Christmas party, she whispered to him, "I'm going to adopt you whether you like it or not."

It's pretty funny, but what's funniest about the whole thing is that Kotb cracks up the entire time, while Gifford just looks mildly rankled and kind of sour.

Below is the actual interview segment, where Gifford talks about her wine line, called "Gifft." You'd think she wouldn't be so prickly about her drinking if she's promoting her own wine line.
