Philadelphia Eagles wide receiver Riley Cooper and cornerback Cary Williams got into quite the scuffle during practice Thursday (Sept. 5).
A video posted by Comcast Sportsnet Philadelphia shows Cooper tumbling to the ground as Williams blocks a reception. Cooper immediately jumps up and throws a punch at Williams, who responds in kind. As the players punch at each other, Williams grabs Cooper by the face mask and begins shaking his neck.
Some other players and a coach break up the scrum, and Cooper ends up connected at the face mask with cornerback Brandon Boykin. Williams throws his helmet to the ground and comes back after Cooper, who is talked down off a limb by quarterback Michael Vick and later, receiver DeSean Jackson.
Cooper was fined recently after video surfaced of him using the N-word and threatening violence.
The Eagles face the Redskins in Washington on opening night of "Monday Night Football" (Sept. 9).
