Weirdest Easter Sunday event: Zombie William and Kate lead Sci-Fi London Easter Parade

zombie-william-kate.jpgWhile most people on Easter Sunday are perhaps attending church, opening Easter baskets, hunting for eggs and/or sitting down to a giant Easter dinner, there are a group of Sci-Fi fans in London celebrating in a different way.

The London Sci-Fi film festival is happening right now, from April 23 to May 2 in Piccadilly Circus. What was the call for Sunday, April 24? A Sci-Fi London Easter Parade led by zombie Prince William and zombie Kate Middleton, of course!

The official website says: "We gather at Noon outside the BFI (British Film Institute) South bank and parade along the Thames to the London Film Museum. Cosplayers, zombies, stormtroopers, steampunks, daywalkers, superheroes come join us. Taking part is free and there will be spot prizes for the best dressed. Leading the parade will be our own pacemakers, a Zombie Will & Kate as they prepare for their wedding on the 7th day of the festival!"

Cool. Nothing says Easter like zombies.
