welcome-to-sweden-finale.jpg "Welcome to Sweden" brought its first season to a close on Thursday (Aug. 28) with "Återförening," or "Home," though the literal translation of the Swedish title is actually reunification. What does that mean? That Bruce is headed back to Sweden to make things right with Emma.

Speaking of Emma, she and Gustav are trying to reunite their parents back in Sweden. Emma encourages her father to find what made him fall in love with Viveka in the first place, which at least gets them talking -- but it doesn't go well, at least not at first. But Birger sticks with it and he and Viveka take off to have adventures together.

Bruce finally gets to Sweden only to discover that Emma is heading to New York to see him. They meet in the cutest way on a set of opposite escalators and Bruce declares his love for her. The music swells, they kiss, everybody's happy.

Except Bruce spills the beans about Aubrey Plaza and Emma is like, "Wait, what?"

We'll have to wait for Season 2 to find out what's going to happen with these two crazy kids. But the show has been renewed, so never fear.

What did you think of the finale, "Sweden" fans?
