Eva Longoria will guest-star on an episode of the show opposite her former "Desperate Housewives" husband, Ricardo Chavira. Deadline reports she'll play a teacher who has Miguel's (Chavira) younger son ( Fabrizio Guido) -- and has a romantic history with her dad.

"Welcome to the Family" stars Chavira and Mike O'Malley ("Glee") as the fathers of two teenagers ( Joseph Haro and Ella Rae Peck) who announce they're expecting a child. Justina Machado and Mary McCormack also star.

"Welcome to the Family" is set to premiere Thursday, Oct. 3 on NBC. A date for Longoria's episode hasn't been set.
