'Welcome to the Family' trailer: Mike O'Malley deals with daughter's unexpected pregnancy in new NBC comedy
What happens when two very different families are forced to come together after their dating children reveal an unexpected pregnancy? Well, in the new NBC comedy "Welcome to the Family," that answer is hijinks.
One of the three new comedies joining NBC's famed Thursday night lineup this fall, "Welcome to the Family" stars Mike O'Malley ("Glee") and Mary McCormark ("In Plain Sight") as Dan and Katrina Yoder, whose daughter Molly ( Ella Rae Peck, "Deception") gets knocked up by her boyfriend Junior ( Joseph Haro, "Awkward"), forcing the Yoders to deal with his parents, Miguel ( Ricardo Chavira, "Desperate Housewives") and Lisette ( Justina Machado, "Private Practice").
The show will follow "Parks and Recreation" in the lineup, at 8:30 p.m. Also in the mix this fall are Sean Hayes' return to NBC with "Sean Saves the World" and 9 p.m. and "The Michael J. Fox Show" at 9:30 p.m.
