When Seth Rogen, Zac Efron and Danny McBride presented an award for best shirtless performance at the MTV Movie Awards Sunday (April 14), there was plenty to pay attention to. In the middle of a show full of dirty jokes and innuendos, it's not surprising that Rogen and McBride, the stars of "This is the End," would try to take it to the next level.

So when they dropped their pants for a comedy bit, Efron could have easily fallen into the background. However, viewers watching closely noticed something wrong with the "High School Musical" star, his hand was bandaged.

So what happened to Efron? Luckily, Us Weekly has the answer. It seems the actor broke his hand on the set of his new movie, "Townies," which he co-stars in with Rogen. The incident happened while filming on April 11. An insider calls the injury "a stupid accident" and says Efron should be okay. "He had it looked at. He's hoping it will heal fast -- he's got a lot of work to do."

Townies is a comedy that centers around two neighbors, a married man (Rogen) and a frat boy (Efron), and what happens when they don't quite get along. Also appearing in the movie are Rose Byrne and Dave Franco.
