Whitney Houston: Funeral home denies leaking open casket photo
"We did not take that photo. We did not sell the photo. We would never do something like that," Carolyn Whigham, owner of Newark, N.J.'s Whigham Funeral Home, tells the New York Daily News.
And despite reports that Whitney's mother, Cissy Houston, wanted employees of the funeral home to undergo lie detector tests, Whigham says the Houston family does not blame them for the leak.
"I am very confident they are on the same page with me," says Whigham. "Family friend Tyler Perry was on the Steve Harvey [radio] show this morning, and he said emphatically he knows we did not do it."
Whigham also says the Enquirer's claim that Houston was buried with $500,000 worth of precious gem stones was also completely false.
