Who is Willow Shields, newest 'The Hunger Games' cast member?
She's a relative unknown, actually. Willow is from Albuquerque, NM, she's the right age to play the 12-year-old Primrose Everdeen and she's a twin.
As far as acting goes, Willow provided a voice for the 2008 short "Las Vegas New Mexico 1875," she was in a 2009 episode of "In Plain Sight" on USA and most recently she stars as Grace, a homeless student in Emily VanCamp's Mrs. Bess' classroom in the Hallmark made-for-TV movie "Beyond the Blackboard." Clips below show Willow (she's the blonde cutie in the braids).
In fact, if you're dying to see Willow (or Primrose!) in action, "Beyond the Blackboard" airs Sunday night at 8 p.m. ET on CBS.
How exciting for Willow. The first "Hunger Games" movie is scheduled for release March, 2012.
