Whoopi Goldberg returns for 'Glee' Season 4

whoopi-goldberg-glee-fox.jpgWhoopee! Or we should say, Whoopi! "The View" co-host Whoopi Goldberg will be returning to FOX's "Glee" this fall as a special guest star, reprising her role as New York Academy of Dramatic Arts dean Carmen Tibideaux, reports The Hollywood Reporter.

Late into Season 3, Tibideaux entered the "Glee" stage as the person who would decide Rachel (Lea Michele) and Kurt's (Chris Colfer) fate when it came to admittance to NYADA. In the end, of course, Rachel was admitted after botching her initial audition and appealing to Tibideaux, while Kurt was somewhat inexplicably denied following his impeccable audition.

Also returning for recurring roles are "The Glee Project" Season 1 winners Samuel Larsen and Alex Newell, who will be joined by "The Glee Project" Season 2 winner Blake Jenner, who will come on board in the fifth episode of the season.

"Glee" returns for its fourth season on Thursday, Sept. 13 at 9 p.m. on FOX.
