'Wild Things With Dominic Monaghan' Season 2 finale: The Slow Loris and a rare tiger cub
On the Season 2 finale of "Wild Things With Dominic Monaghan," the "Lost" star and host is traveling deep into the wilds of Thailand, searching for one of the most unique and endangered primates on the planet, the Slow Loris.
During his search, Monaghan finds and plays with a rare Indochinese tiger cub. Watch a sneak peek preview above and below.
"The researchers that we've been working with said that the last time they saw a wild tiger was about six years ago," says Monaghan. "That just shows you just how rare tigers are in this part of the world, and in fact all over the world ... One of the sad things about these gorgeous little animals is that in the next five, maybe 10 years, these little creatures might go extinct in the wild. Obviously, that's a very tragic thing for the tiger, but what does it say about human beings as a species?"
"Wild Things With Dominic Monaghan" airs Tuesdays at 10 p.m. ET/PT on BBC America.
