- Will Arnett will pull two paychecks from NBC this season. The "Up All Night" star will reprise his role as Jack Donaghy's ( Alec Baldwin) nemesis Devon Banks on "30 Rock" when it returns at midseason. Arnett has earned three Emmy nominations for the part. [ TV Guide]

- "Modern Family" has added two more guest stars to its third season. Comedian Kevin Hart ("Little Fockers") will guest as a doctor who moves in to the Dunphys' neigbhorhood, and Leslie Mann ("Funny People") will play a woman Cam ( Eric Stonestreet) tries to pick up at a bar. Wait -- say what? Apparently it's part of a bet with Mitchell ( Jesse Tyler Ferguson). [ EW/ TV Guide]

- Chris Bauer ("True Blood," "The Wire") will head to Honolulu for an episode of "Hawaii Five-0" later this season. He'll play the foreman of an offshore oil platform who comes into contact with Five-0 when one of the rig's workers is killed. [ Vulture]

- Syfy is developing a series adaptation of "The Adjustment Bureau," the underrated film from earlier this year that starred Matt Damon and Emily Blunt and is based on a Philip K. Dick story. Former "Smallville" EPs Todd Slavkin and Darren Swimmer will write the pilot, which we're guessing will put the members of the Bureau at the center of the story. [ Deadline]

- ABC has found a co-host for its upcoming daytime show "The Revolution" within the company ranks. "Extreme Makeover: Home Edition's" Ty Pennington will join Tim Gunn and fitness expert Harley Pasternak on the health and lifestyle show, which is set to debut in January. [ ABC]

- "Prohibition," the newest documentary from Ken Burns, got off to a good start on PBS Sunday (Oct. 2). The premiere of the three-part series attracted an average of 3.9 million viewers. [ LA Times]
