maksim-chmerkovskiy- meryl-davis-dwts-win.jpgAfter receiving probably one of the most well-deserved wins in "Dancing With The Stars" history, veteran pro Maksim Chmerkovskiy reflected on his victory with partner Meryl Davis.

"I'm actually not as beside myself as I thought I would be, because I am incapable of accepting gifts or awards," he tells Zap2it and a group of reporters. "We just have this weird, dumbfound look on our faces. This isn't our finish line. Charlie didn't make the final. James didn't make the final; they were all people who did incredible numbers. It's about the people who voted and called and stayed up over night to vote and vote and vote. It's because of them that we won this trophy. This is why it's special, because those people dedicated their time for us."

When asked if he will return to the ballroom in Season 19 of the hit ABC show, Maks said, "Len and I will get together and think about it. Honestly, emotionally I have no idea how this is possible twice. Derek did it five times and he was the first person I spoke to after Meryl. Maybe we are different in that way. I have to connect with the person and when I connect it is do or die. When the season is over, I'm depleted. I have nothing else to give."

Could Maks be taking on a different role in Season 19 and heading to the judges table? Signs are pointing that way, as head judge Len Goodman has yet to renew his contract. We will have to stay tuned till next season to find out.
