This could be confirmation to the rumors that Will Smith is working to resurrect his rap career. The actor-producer-director took the mic for a seemingly impromptu performance at Gabrielle Union's birthday bash.

Backed up by Doug E. Fresh, Smith ran through a melody of snippets, including bits of his radio hit with DJ Jazzy Jeff, "Summertime" and the theme song from his hit 90's sitcom, "The Fresh Prince of Bel Air." Isn't it nice to see an artist embrace his roots, rather than shunning the very moments in his career that were stepping stones to his gigantic success?

Not to worry though; even if Will goes full force back into rap, he's far from leaving his lucrative film career behind. Along with some rumored directorial projects on the horizon, Smith is slated for starring roles in "Hancock 2," "Bad Boys 3" and "I, Robot 2." Cha-ching!
