Wimbledon 2013: Andy Murray win most-watched TV moment of the year in UK

Scotsman Murray is a local hero across the pond, and BBC One announced via Twitter that the 13.2 million peak audience for the Murray/Janowicz showdown reps the "most watched TV moment of the year so far."

That edges out the 13.1 million peak audience of the "Britain's Got Talent" finale on ITV and trounces the 9.27 million peak of the finale of new hit drama "Broadchurch" starring David Tennant (and coming to BBC America in August).

Murray moves on to face Novak Djokovic in the finals and it's probably a safe bet that match will set another TV record.
