'Witches of East End' Season 2: 'Buffy the Vampire Slayer,' 'Teen Wolf' actors cast

"Witches of East End" Season 2 is bringing not one but two former "Buffy the Vampire Slayer" actors to guest-star in the Lifetime fantasy series: James Marsters and Bianca Lawson.

Marsters, best known for playing Spike on both "Buffy the Vampire Slayer" and "Angel," has been cast as Tarkoff. TVLine reports that he an old friend of Joanna's (Julia Ormond) who comes back into her life. Considering how long Joanna has been around, this could be a very old friend indeed.

The initial casting announcement was made by one of the "Witches" executive producers, Richard Hatem, who posted the news to Twitter.



As for Lawson, she will recur as Eva, starting with the Season 2 premiere episode. A mysterious woman with a strong connection to Killian (Daniel di Tomasso), it may take awhile to decide whether Eva is friend or foe.

In addition to playing the doomed slayer Kendra on "Buffy the Vampire Slayer," Lawson has more recently had recurring roles on "Teen Wolf," "Pretty Little Liars" and more.

"Witches of East End" Season 2 premieres Sunday, July 6 at 9 p.m. ET/PT on Lifetime.
