Jennifer Lopez will not perform at the 2014 World Cup opening ceremonies, according to a report from CNN. The singer was expected to sing Brazil 2014's official song, "We Are One (Ola Ola)."

"Regretfully Jennifer Lopez will not be attending this year's World Cup opening ceremonies," a rep for Lopez says in a statement. No further reason for the miss was offered.

The "American Idol" judge, along with Pitbull and Brazilian star Claudia Leitte, recorded the official song and were expected to perform it during the opening ceremonies Thursday (June 12) in Brazil. That would have kicked off the global soccer tournament, which begins its games after the ceremony when Brazil takes on Croatia.

Pitbull and Leitte are still expected to perform at this time. There is no word on any possible replacement.
