fringe-joshua-jackson-gallery.jpgSorry, sports fans. Rain in St. Louis has pushed back Game 6 of the World Series between the Texas Rangers and the St. Louis Cardinals -- meaning the teams will play Thursday night.

If you're like us, though, you're more worried about your television schedule than the outcome of the game. (Again... sorry, sports fans.)

So here's the deal: If the Cards win tomorrow's game and a tie-breaker Game 7 is necessary, FOX will push "Fringe" back a week, meaning that Peter (Joshua Jackson) won't be returning for yet another week. (If you're singing "I Don't Want to Wait" right now, please be our best friend.)

This would also be not-so-awesome news for "Chuck" and "Grimm," which have their season and series premieres (respectively) scheduled opposite the potential Game 7. Don't worry, they'll still air that Friday -- but ratings may not be as stellar as they would have been if the big game wasn't their competition.
