WWE's CM Punk loses Stanley Cup bet to LA Kings mascot: Pic

A bet is a bet. That's the lesson learned for professional wrestler CM Punk, who left WWE in January. Punk, an avid fan of Chicago sports teams, has been in a vicious Twitter feud with none other than Bailey the lion, mascot of the L.A. Kings, lately.

Throughout the seven-game series between the Kings and the Chicago Blackhawks, there was a lot of track talk and one specific wager between Bailey and Punk. If the Blackhawks lost the series, Punk would have to wear a Kings jersey on his home turf. Likewise, if the Blackhawks won, Bailey would have to sport their colors at Staples Center.

In the end, the Kings advanced to the Stanley Cup Finals and it took no time at all for Punk to make good on his promise. "A bet is a bet, lion," he writes on Twitter. "Thanks for the sweater? Congrats to the western conference champions @LAKings"

Punk has also challenged "Tonight Show" host Jimmy Fallon to step up and make a bet with Bailey regarding the finals, where the Kings will battle the New York Rangers. Things sound be about to get a lot more interesting. Game 1 of the Stanley Cup Finals is Wednesday (June 4) on NBC.
