Warning: The following contains major spoilers for Monday's (May 19) episode of "WWE Raw." Do not read if you don't want to be spoiled.

A decision has been made regarding the currently injured Daniel Bryan and his WWE World Heavyweight Championship. It was revealed last week that WWE would figure out what to do with the title after Bryan's surgery on his injured neck, with an announcement to be made on Monday's (May 19) "WWE Raw."

The episode was taped early in England and included a segment with Stephanie McMahon announced she'd like to strip the WWE Championship from Daniel Bryan when "Raw" returns to the United States on May 26, but will allow him to surrender it in person.

Since Bryan is recovering from surgery, he could not travel to England. What's unclear is the severity of his injuries. As it stands, WWE has been moving forward with booking "Payback" on June 1 without a WWE World Heavyweight Championship match. Whether he could be healthy enough to wrestle the next pay per view, "Money In the Bank," is unknown.

As the announcement was being made in England, WWE released a video of Bryan talking about the possibility of losing his championship. He notes that he wouldn't necessarily be against it being taken away and having to fight his way back to the top.

Bryan won the championship in the April 6 main event of "Wrestlemania 30."
