Since leaving WWE in January, CM Punk has been largely absent from the TV screen. In fact, before now he's only showed up on "Talking Dead" in March, appearing as Phil Brooks, his legal name.
Thursday night (June 19) he turned up again, this time on IFC's "Maron." In the segment, Punk talks wrestling names and mental issues with star Marc Maron. The two first met when Punk appeared on Maron's "WTF" podcast in November 2013.
While it's not necessarily WWE talk, it's the first time Punk has had anything to say about professional wrestling since he decided to walk away. During his time off, Punk has been plenty busy. He's become a regular fixture at games for Chicago sports teams, including making a wager with the LA Kings' mascot during the NHL playoffs. He also reportedly married his girlfriend, former WWE Divas Champion AJ Lee.
