Wyclef Jean, Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt encourage Haiti earthquake relief

wyclef-jean.jpg Wyclef Jean, a recording artist and former member of now-defunct group The Fugees, is doing all he can for the citizens of the earthquake-ravaged Haiti. He arrived in the country Wednesday to aid in the relief effort.

Jean has also been tweeting about his home country since the earthquake yesterday, including, " WARRIORS HAITI NEEDS U NOW! PLEASE LEND YOUR PRAYERS AND SUPPORT TO THE EARTHQUAKE RELIEF EFFORT TEXT "YELE" TO 501 501 OR VISIT YELE.ORG."

Which managed to send so many people to Yele.org to help that it crashed their site.
But it's heart-warming to see how many people responded to his Twitter and mobilized.

A spokeswoman for Yele told the Associated Press that the organization "is working to fix the problem and increase the site's bandwidth."
