Director Bryan Singer has been very good about sharing a bunch of information and photos from the set of "X-Men: Days of Future Past." That continued on the 4th of July, though it wasn't a picture of an actor in-costume this time.
Singer tweeted a photo of a home with a mailbox that reads "Maximoff," writing "House call." Comic book fans may recognize Maximoff as the surname belonging to the characters Quicksilver and Scarlet Witch. The two are the children of Magneto ( Michael Fassbender/ Ian McKellen), the chief antagonist in the X-Men universe.
Singer confirmed in May that "American Horror Story" star Evan Peters had been cast in the role, though he's one of the few announced characters that hasn't shown up in the director's stream of photos.
What's unclear is if the movie will contain a little bit of Scarlet Witch, which could be a possibility if they're visiting the Maximoff family home. Joss Whedon has confirmed both characters will appear in "Marvel's The Avengers 2." No casting has been announced for that movie yet, however Aaron Taylor-Johnson ("Kick-Ass 2") has been reported to be close to landing the part.
"X-Men: Days of Future Past" is set for theaters July 18, 2014. Check out the photo from Singer below:
