The fanboys and entertainment blogs have
been going back and forth
on this picture that has been circulating the Internet Tuesday (Jan. 18) of the cast of "X-Men: First Class," which hits theaters on June 3.
While several sites have been asked to take down the picture by Twentieth Century Fox, apparently
THR is sticking to its story
and they haven't pulled it. But, to be clear, we are reporting this is NOT the official photo (until it is).
Based on the Marvel comic book series of the same name, this installment will be the fifth in the "X-Men" film series and a prequel.
Here's the official summary:
Before Charles Xavier and Erik Lensherr took the names Professor X and Magneto, they were two young men discovering their powers for the first time. Before they were archenemies, they were closest of friends, working together, with other Mutants (some familiar, some new), to stop the greatest threat the world has ever known. In the process, a rift between them opened, which began the eternal war between Magneto's Brotherhood and Professor X's X-MEN.
Pictured in the unofficial photo, from left, are
Michael Fassbender ("Inglourious bastards) as Erik Lehnsherr/Magneto,
Rose Byrne ("Damages") as Dr. Moira MacTaggert,
January Jones ("Mad Men") as Emma Frost,
Jason Flemyng ("Clash of the Titans") as Azazel,
Nicholas Hoult ("Skins") as Hank McCoy/Beast,
Lucas Till ("Hannah Montana: The Movie") as Alex Summers/Havok,
Zoë Kravitz ("Twelve") as Angel Salvadore,
Jennifer Lawrence ("Winter's Bone") as Raven Darkholme/Mystique, and
James McAvoy ("Atonement") as Professor Charles Xavier.
Okay, don't think about it until we're told it's okay to, then sound off below!
